Similar to the Ivy League in the US, 24 of the best universities are part of the Russell Group in the UK. The main difference between RG universities and others comes in research, teaching, and overall standing. RG university faculty members are usually Nobel Prize winners or world-class researchers. A Levels stand for advanced level, and they are UK-based academic qualifications that are taken by students between the age group between ages of 16 to 18 years. They focus on in-depth knowledge of particular subjects and are recognised by Cambridge and the rest of the world. As an international student, these levels are not required, but the candidate must have passed with the highest scores possible.
