Yes,  Rajiv Gandhi, an Indian Politician is an alumni of the University of Cambridge. He served as the 6th Prime Minister of India from 1984 -1989. He joined the Trinity College at Cambridge in the United Kingdom. Later, in 1966, he returned to India and became a professional pilot for Indian Airlines. Lately, the acceptance rate of the University of Cambridge for undergraduates has witnessed a surge compared to the previous years. In 2023, the acceptance rate stood at 21.2%. Whereas, in 2021, it was recorded to be at 18.7%.

Also, the number of students applying to the university has decreased in the past few years. In 2023, the university received 21,445 applications, out of which 3,557 received an admission offer.
