Getting into the University of Cambridge can be considered tough and the students are required to have a first class bachelor's degree along with English language proficiency.
Given below are the other admission requirements for MA at the University of Cambridge:
- A UG degree with 65% to 70%
- An awesome score in the English language proficiency exam
- An application made via the application portal
- Strong CV, LORs and research proposal

Yes, just like the other UK universities, too, the University of Cambridge offers MA courses.
These courses are generally pursued by the holders of a BA degree and the applicants are required to meet the Cambridge University admisison requirements.
The first year tuition fee for the same programme is INR 45 L (it does not include other important factors like housing and transportation).

The MPhil in Management programme is offered by Cambridge Judge Business School under the University of Cambridge. And Indian applincants can and do apply for this programme but with some admission requirements as given below -
- A UK first class honours degree
- A really good GPA
- English language proficiency
- Additional docs like CV, transcripts, academic references and an SOP
- Maths or Stats aptitude

Yes, as an Indian student, you would generally need to submit proof of English language proficiency. This can be done by taking exams like IELTS (Academic) and the applicants need a minimum band of 7.5 out of 9 bands.

The University of Cambridge MPhil is considered really prestigious in the world and very worth it for Indian students.
This programme is suitable for the students who wish to build skills and a solid foundation for a PhD or a high-research activity career.
Only point Indian students should be cautious about is the cost of degree as MPhil from Cambridge can be an expensive affair with the tuition fee going as high as GBP 29.8K (INR 38.7L).

Without a doubt, it can be considered very tough to get into the University of Cambridge MPhil courses as an Indian applicant.
The Cambridge admission criterion is quite tough and competitive for applicants. As per the latest stats, the acceptance rate for the Cambridge MPhil was barely 50%.

Yes, for the Cambridge University courses in Arts, Humanities or Architecture, Indian students need to submit portfolios along with a great academic edge and English language proficiency.
These digital portfolios can be submitted via the 'My Cambridge Application' portal. The deadlines for the same are early November each year.
For the Cambridge Architecture course, Indian applicants should submit a digital portfolio of 6 A4 pages with sketches, 3D Design and drawings.
