Aspirants seeking admission into this course should have passed Graduation in the relevant stream from a recognised university.
Admission to two-year postgraduate program offered by GNC is based upon the merit obtained in qualifying examination followed by personal interview. MBA selection will be through TANCET or CAT/XAT or any other MBA entrance test. For MCA, candidates have to appear for TANCET or any entrance test conducted by consortium of professional colleges in Tamil Nadu.
Those who have passed Bachelors Degree in relevant stream from a recognized university with 50% marks or above may apply for the admission in the program.

The University of Madras, Tamil Nadu, is one of the oldest and most prestigious state universities. It offers admission in Bachelor's, master's, and doctorate courses. Each academic year is divided into two semesters. The odd semesters consist of the period from June to November of each year, and the even semesters are from December to April of each year. Each semester usually have minimum 90 working days.
