hi,

LPU NEST syllabus depends on the programme, but broadly it covers subjects from previous qualifying exams. For most undergraduate programmes like B.Tech, it includes Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology, English, and sometimes Aptitude. For programs like MBA, it focuses on Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, General Awareness, and English. For law, it may include Legal Reasoning, GK, English, and Aptitude. The level of questions is generally based on Class 11–12 (for UG) or graduation (for PG). Detailed, program-wise syllabi and sample papers are provided on LPU's official LPU NEST webpage and admission brochure.

If you have qualified LPUNEST, then your B.Tech (CSE) fee at LPU will depend mainly on two things: the base fee and the scholarship slab you fall into. Lovely Professional University normally keeps the B.Tech (CSE) tuition fee around the higher range because it is one of the most in-demand programs. The standard tuition fee for CSE is approximately ₹1,40,000 to ₹2,00,000 per semester before applying any scholarship. Since the programme runs for four years (eight semesters), the total fee without scholarship would be roughly between ₹12–16 Lacs for the entire duration. However, because you have qualified LPUNEST,

If attempting LPUNEST is generally mandatory for admission into BBA, LL.B. (Hons.) course in LPU, it is especially so if his/her 10+2 board percentage is below 85. In cases where extremely high marks are attained (usually above 85%) by the candidate in 10+2, such candidates may be exempted from LPUNEST and admitted on merit. Since you expect to secure 70-79%, you will have to take LPUNEST to be admissible.

Yes, LPUNEST is the official entrance exam for Lovely Professional University.
It's used for admissions, scholarships, and program-specific eligibility across many courses.Think of it as LPU's own gateway test, simple, online, and conducted multiple times a year.

Once you have paid the LPUNEST entrance test fee from Lovely Professional University (LPU), the next step is to book your exam slot, where you select a date, time, and test center (if applicable). After that, download your admit card for the exam. Once you appear for and qualify in LPUNEST, you will thereafter proceed with document verification, counseling, and payment of fees to confirm your seat in the programme of choice. Keep track of correspondence with regard to your registered email and mobile throughout the process.

The LPU NEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test) is conducted multiple times a year, offering flexibility to applicants. After you fill out the admission form, you can choose your preferred exam slot from the available dates. Generally, LPU NEST is held in several phases—January, April, and July—for different programs. Once you register and pay the fee, you'll receive a scheduling link to book your exam date and center (online or offline). The admit card is released soon after slot booking, and results are usually declared within a few days of the test completion.
