Lovely Professional University conducts the National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to its various courses. It is conducted in online mode every year for admission to more than 150 programmes. The test acts as an Entrance Test as well as Scholarship Test. The amount of scholarship is determined by the marks and rank obtained by candidates in the exam. In the NIRF Ranking, 2023 LPU appears in Top 100 in its most crucial Overall Category, which includes IITs and Central Universities. Generally, the candidates should have passed 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in the relevant subjects if applying for course like BTECH or MBA but if applying for course like BCA 50% is required.

The scholarship percentage varies programme-wise as per the students' scores. The candidate may be eligible for more than one scholarships but he will be entitled for only one, whichever is the highest.

Apart from the scholarship schemes, LPU also offers financial aid to the students belonging to underprivileged students like orphans, persons with disability etc. or some specific groups like Wards of Defence personnel etc.
