Hi there, your Diploma marks will certainly be considered for your eligibility, however, admission to certain programs is subject to entrance test. Hence, you will have to qualify entrance test as well if you opt for such program.
For B.Tech and Honors programs like BBA Hons, BSc Hons, and B.Com Hons, the eligibility requirement is a minimum of 60 percent marks.
For MBA programs, the eligibility criteria include a minimum of 55 percent marks.
For B.Com, BCA, and BBA programs, the minimum eligibility requirement is 50 percent marks.
For BA programs, eligibility is based on passing marks in any discipline.

The last date of admission at LPU is 31 July 2023. LPUNEST (Test Centre Based Exam and online proctored) dates are announced. LPUNEST 2023 Registration process started on February 1, 2023. Visit LPU Entrance Exam LPUNEST 2023-24 to view programme wise LPUNEST dates. Dear student, LPUNEST is mandatory for admission in programs such as Hons, B Tech, B Pharm, MBA, MLT etc. For other programs such as BA, B Com, BBA, BCA, lpunest is not mandatory. But you need to fulfil other eligibility criteria. You do not need to get scared of LPUNEST either. I would suggest that you please visit the lpunest website of the concerned programme to know more about LPUNEST. The previous year question papers, syllabus, sample papers and all such information can be had from lpunest website. You need to have a good command of your subject, stream, verbal ability and analytical ability to get a good score. Good Luck

How to Apply for LPU NEST
Step-1: Visit the website of LPU NEST 2023
Step-2: Click on the “Registration” link with basic details like name, email id, mobile no., gender, and password.
Step-3: Pay the application fee in online and offline mode.
Step-4: Fill the application form with details like personal, educational, communication details.
Step-5: Upload the scanned document like photograph and signature.
Step-6: Take the printout of the application form and fee receipt for future reference.

The syllabus and format of the paper is different for every course as LPUNEST is purely course specific. The aim of conducting the test is to check how far the concepts are clear to the student. LPUNEST is considered for offering scholarships as well as determining Eligibility for admission in various programmes.

In some courses its compulsory to appear and qualify that particular exam the courses like B.Tech, B.Arch and mba, but in courses like ba, B.Com, BBA its not necessary to appear in LPUNEST if you want scholarship then you can apply for the same but you are interested in that also then there in no need to appear in the exam called LPUNEST.
