After booking your LPU NEST exam slot once you have chosen your mode of the LPU NEST exam (Online Remotely Proctored at home or Test Centre-Based), you can, in general, not change the mode. The guidelines at LPU clarify that when a candidate chooses the remotely proctored exam at home, he/she is not allowed to switch to test centre-based exam. On the same note, once slot booking is made it is a finalised application and changes are not nearly accommodated. Changing the date or test center may be done under exceptional circumstances and charged a fee, however changing the mode itself is in most instances not allowed.

Once you have submitted the form, no further modifications are allowed neither online nor offline. Slot booking is part of the submission process. If you have already booked your slot, your application is considered finalised.There is no separate “correction window” after slot booking for LPUNEST. You may update your information while filling the form, up until you click “Submit and book slot.” Carefully review all entries (personal details, exam centre, programme preferences, etc.) before  finalising mistakes can't be corrected later.

Yes, you can take LPUNEST from home through its online remotely proctored mode. Here's what that means:

 As soon as you book your slot, you'll opt for the home based proctored exam monitored by live invigilators and AI tools using two devices:

A laptop/desktop (primary device) with a webcam and mic.

A smartphone (secondary device) acting as a 3rd-eye camera .

You'll get detailed instructions, including system requirements (OS, browsers, internet speed 1 Mbps), setup guidelines, and rules to follow during the test .

For programmes where LPUNEST is mandatory, you must qualify the exam even after provisional admission. For other programmes, while initial admission might be granted based on academic qualifications, appearing for LPUNEST can enhance your scholarship opportunities.
