Usually the ideal time to apply for gthe PTE test is 2-3 months before you university application window opening. This period would give you enough amount of time to re-prepare and retake the test if you don't get the desired results. However, you must consider factors like your preparation, test centre availability, and your college application deadlines

The PTE Academic exam has three main sections: Speaking & Writing, Reading, and Listening. The Speaking and Writing sections are combined into a single part of the test, while Reading and Listening are separate sections. The entire exam is computer-based and taken in one continuous session.
