Yes, rescheduling your PTE test appointment is absolutely possible. To change your PTE test centre and time slot, you can cancel and reschedule your exam at any time free of cost if there are more than 14 days left to your exam. However, if there are less than 14 days left for your exam then, you will get only 50% refund of your PTE exam registration fee.

Availability of the PTE test centre slot depends on:
- the location you choose to take the exam,
- the specific time of the month or year you choose to take the exam, and
- The volume of applicants registering.
PTE test slots usually available in India are 8 AM, 10 15 AM, 12 30 PM, 3 30 PM, 5 00 PM, and 7 15 PM.

Yes, the PTE test centres differ largely in terms of slot availability and the frequency with which the exams are conducted. Larger centres in metro cities offer multiple daily slots (sometimes all 5 slots: from 8:00 AM to 7:15 PM), whereas tier 2 cities may have fewer slots available per week.

Yes, stress caused from travel, crowding, poor infrastructure, or technical issues at a centre may impact your concentration and hence, your PTE scores. For this and multiple other reasons, Pearson recommends that each test taker must arrive at the centre at least 30 minutes before the scheduled test time.
However, if your test centre is located in another city, then you must plan your travel to the city on the day prior to your PTE exam day.

Several big cities in India have multiple PTE test centers. These cities include Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. Also, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, and Cochin. This means you have a choice. Because there are 2 or 3 centers in each place. They often offer many different time slots daily. This is very convenient for test takers.

Yes, weekends (especially Saturdays) tend to fill up faster due to high demand from working professionals and students. So it's advisable to book your test early if you target those days.

Usually, there is no requirement of an ID document for PTE registration. You only need an active valid email ID and phone number to register and thereby, book a PTE exam slot. Make sure you spell out your name correctly as in your passport while registering for the exam.
However, you will need a valid passport that matches your profile on the exam day, while entering the test centre.
