As per the exam conducting body, Pearson PTE, the overall length of the PTE exam will continue to remain the same, i.e. 2 hours even after the addition of two new types of tasks. This is done by adjusting the length and number of other tasks in the PTE exam accordingly.

It is highly unlikely that you won't receive a confirmation email of your PTE exam registration. Hence, first, you must check the spam folder. If still your email is missing until 48 hours from making the payment, contact Pearson support directly.

No, Pearson does not accept any last minute or on the spot registrations. All efforts are made for the comfort and safety of the test takers, which is why only prior applications, submitted online, are accepted. Pearson recommends online or phone registration only.

Pearson recommends to strictly verify the spelling of your name while during registration. The conducting body of the PTE exam also recommends that your details on your passport or other acceptable government-issued ID must match with the details you enter while registering for the PTE exam.
Hence, if details on your ID and details on your PTE exam registration differ, you may get denied for the entry.

Only a valid and unexpired passport is officially accepted by administrators at the PTE exam centres. Some centres may accept government-issued ID like Aadhaar with photo/signature, but passport is often the safest option.

Yes, but cancellation policies do apply. Your eligibility for a refund depends on how early you apply for cancellation and accordingly, cancellation fees may/may not apply.
- If you cancel when there are more than 14 days left for your PTE exam then you are eligible for a complete refund, i.e. INR 18,000.
- If you cancel your exam when there are 14 or less days left to your test then, only 50% of your PTE exam fee will be refunded, i.e. INR 9,000.
