• All applications are screened by GIBS based on academic records/test scores/overall application profile.
•  Those who are shortlisted will be invited for the selection process, which typically includes a Group Discussion/Personal Interview to assess the candidate's communication skills, clarity of thought, career goals and fit for the program.
•  Based on an overall evaluation of the candidate's scoring on the interview/test scores/academics and overall application profile, final admission decisions will be made.

When you hear the terms "Direct Admission", "Merit Seat", "Institutional Seat", they mean that:

•  An applicant must go through all of the above processes to qualify.
•  An applicant who does not have a certain test score may be evaluated through the same review processes for academic
• records/interview performance/overall application.
• An applicant will go through all of the above evaluations and processes to qualify for admission.
