VIT Chennai admits students to its programs based upon merit. Students are given admission to the MBA programme based upon the eligibility criteria and scores in the entrance exam and Personal Interview. There are no seats reserved exclusively for students belonging to Jammu & Kashmir in the MBA program. But a relaxation is given to Jammu & Kashmir students in the eligibility criteria of MBA. They are given a 10% relaxation in the minimum aggregate of the undergraduate degree.

LPU offers solid MBA placements, with the highest package reaching INR49 LPA and top 10% averaging over INR10 LPA from recruiters like Amazon, Cognizant, and KPMG. Over 1,100 offers were made recently through strong industry ties. Dress code stays flexible—decent casual for classes, but formals required for events, seminars, and interviews to build professionalism. Among specializations, marketing edges out HR with broader roles in FMCG and digital sectors, though finance and analytics also shine; choice depends on career goals.

MBA students at LPU enjoy a flexible dress code that prioritizes decency and professionalism without rigid uniforms. Daily classes allow comfortable casuals like collared shirts, trousers, or kurtas with leggings, as long as attire remains modest—no shorts, flip-flops, or overly casual nightwear. Formals become essential for seminars, placements, and events: think formal shirts, pants, ties, leather shoes, and neat grooming for a polished look. This approach fosters self-expression while building corporate readiness, making campus life practical and student-friendly.
