After 10th, you can do Diploma in automobile engineering from a Polytechnic but if you want to become an automobile engineer, you may do 10+2 with physics, chemistry and maths as subjects to become eligible to seek admission in B.Tech in automobile engineering by appearing in various engineering entrance examinations.
