Yes, ICFAI University Raipur provides a special provision to applicants belonging to the State of Chhattisgarh in any course which shall not be less than 25 (twenty-five) per cent of seats in each course/ discipline subject to the applicants meeting the minimum qualifying requirements referred to above. The seats remaining unfilled under special reservation may be filled up by allotting the same to applicants belonging to Open Category.
ICFAI Raipur is a private university and was established under Section 9 (2) of the Chhatisgarh Private Universities (Establishment and Operation) Act 2005 and notified on March 25, 2011. The university is recognised by UGC and has been accredited by NCTE for BEd programmes. Further, ICFAI University Chattisgarh has also been approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and offers AICTE-approved courses to students.
ICFAI University offers admission to most of the UG and PG courses based on merit of the aspirants in the qualifying exam. The university evaluates the application forms of the candidates for selection. Besides, admission to some of the courses is entrance-based. The university informs the selected candidates about the interview schedule. Shortlisted aspirants need to further pass the interview round for final selection.
