B.Tech Eligibility

To be eligible for the B.Tech course at Arka Jain University, Jharkhand, you need to meet the following criteria:
1. For Regular Entry (1st Year):- You should have passed the Senior Secondary Examination (10 + 2) from any recognised board. - The subjects you should have studied are Physics Chemistry and Mathematics. - You should have obtained an overall aggregate of at least 45% marks (after applying a relaxation of 5% for SC/ST candidates). - You must have a valid scorecard of any national level entrance test or AJU-CET.
2. For Lateral Entry (2nd Year):- You should have completed a Diploma Examination in any branch of Engineering and Technology. - The minimum required marks for eligibility are 45% (or 40% for candidates belonging to reserved categories). - Alternatively, you can have a B.Sc. Degree from a recognised university as defined by UGC. - In addition, you should have obtained at least 45% marks in the B.Sc. Degree (or 40% for candidates belonging to reserved categories). - You must have also passed the 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject. The eligibility criteria for B.Tech course in SOA university, candidates shall have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination with at least 60% marks (50% in case of SC / ST / OBC category) and obtained at least 50% marks in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Siksha 'o' Anusandhan course admissions for various UG and PG courses of Engineering is done through either SAAT or various national-level entrance exams. Further, the university releases merit lists for students who got qualified in the respective entrance exams. For the final selection process, it is mandatory for students to appear for the counselling process conducted by the university.
