Hi Sameer,
There is only one other way of getting admission in BITS Pilani if you are not appearing in BITSAT i.e. you need to be a board topper in the intermediate (+2) examination.
Best wishes.

Hi Aseema,
There are only two systems for getting admission in BITS Pilani. One- you need to appear in BITSAT examination, and the other one is- if you are a board topper. Other than these two, there's no way of getting admission at BITS Pilani.
Hope it helps.

Hi Kusuma,
Both the colleges are very good. But when it comes to Computer Science and Engineering stream, BITS Pilani certainly has an edge over MNNIT. It is at par with IITs in CSE branch, so I think the better choice would be BITS Pilani, Hyderabad campus.
All the best.

Hi Asis,
I think there is some issue with your evaluation or exam result. I would suggest to immediately mail the entire scenario to the concerned admission office at admnoc@pilani.bits-pilani.ac.in
You must try to reach them over phone and enquire clearly about it. The contact numbers are 01596-242205, 01596-515330.
All the best.

Hi Karan,
Firstly, It depends upon the cutoff marks for your shortlisting in these branches. To get an idea, please go through this link:

For the understanding of the difference, between the two branches, both have origin in Electrical Engineering. But in detail, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering deals with Electrical technology and machines, circuit analysis, electronics, electromagnetism, electrical engineering materials, instrumentation etc while ECE consist of analog transmission, basic electronics, solid state devices, microprocessors, digital and analog communication, anal

Anything is achievable if you are determined to achieve it. Since you know your target (360+), make a comprehensive study plan. Failing to plan is planning to fail. Devote some time to know your strengths and weaknesses. Prepare a detailed/comprehensive chart for each and every subject consisting of syllabus and mention your expertise in each and every topic. Identify the gaps. Identify your strong holds. Look for the topics you need to concentrate more on. And then assign "# of days" to each and every topic for each and every subject. Also mention what all books, and curriculum you would be studying from. Talk to your friends, teacher

Boards marks are nothing to do with admission in BITSAT but one should have at least 60% PCM marks. You have to give BITSAT exam to get admission in BITS, otherwise, it is not possible unless you are a state topper.
