Fraction of molecules having enough energy to form product = e E a / R T

Fraction of molecules having enough energy to form product = e 8 0 . 9 * 1 0 3 8 . 3 1 4 * 7 0 0

= e 1 3 . 8 e 1 4

So, x = 14

A (g) -> B (g)        KP = 100

Δ G at 300 K and 1 atm

Using

Δ G = R T l n K P

Δ G = R * 3 0 0 l n 1 0 0

=-R * 300 * 2 * 2.3

Δ G = 1 3 8 0 R

So; x = 1380.

Δ T f = K f * m * i

0.93 = 1.86 * 1 * i

i = 1 2 i = 1 + ( 1 n 1 )

n = 2

Stability constant are :

K1 = 104

K2 = 1.58 * 103

K3 = 5 * 102

K4 = 102

Overall stability constant K will be

K = K1 * K2 * K3 * K4

 = 7.9 * 1011

Now, overall equilibrium constant for dissociation of [Cu (NH3)4]2+ is

K ' = 1 K = 1 7 . 9 * 1 0 1 1 = 0 . 1 2 6 * 1 0 1 1

= 1.26 * 10-12

So; x = 1 (Rounded off to the nearest integer)

S ( g ) + 6 F ( g ) S F 6 ( g )

Δ H 0 R = Δ H 0 f ( S F 6 ) Δ H 0 f ( S ) 6 * Δ H 0 f ( F )

= (-1100) (275) 6 (80) = 1855

Δ H 0 S F = 1 8 5 5 6 = 3 0 9 . 1 6 K J / m o l 3 0 9
