Hello Souvik,
The number of seats available for lateral entry is actually not fixed. It depends on many dynamic factors. But roughly it can be as 10% of the authorised intake in that particular stream in that college.

Hi Gurinder,
Something you should know. It will depend on your choice of career and attributes. You may choose to pursue MS in Civil Engineering and specialize in a particular field or look for MS in more specific subjects like Urban Planning etc. You can also look for Engineering Management, General Management courses etc. Decide according to your own goals.

This decision would depend on your interest areas and career aspirations.
MBA will give you exposure to business management, whereas M.Tech will give you exposure more specific to the technical area.
According the area of work that one gets will also differ.

Yes you can apply for the PG Diploma in Event Management in National Institute of Event Management. To get admission, applicant needs to successfully complete the evaluation process including Interview, Test, and/or Project submission, etc.
* Shortlisted Applicant shall be called for Personal Interview or Telephonic Interview (for outstation Applicant)
* The prime objective of evaluation process is to check the candidate's personality traits, academics, goals and self awareness level
