Both the universities – McGill University and the University of Toronto are great universities and the decision to choose between these universities is dependent on personal preferences.

  • University of Toronto's admissions standards are somewhat lower than McGill University, particularly for programs like Business 
  • McGill students tend to have a stronger sense of school pride / spirit
  • McGill is much more diverse especially if you look beyond students from India and China

The University of Toronto fees for Masters of Science in Applied Computing in Data Science programme for international students is CAD 77,800  (INR 49 Lakh). Although students can choose to stay off-campus in the welcoming town of Wolfville, the close-knit housing community of Acadia is no less warm and comfortable. There are 11 halls for residence purposes equipped with 24-hour on-call security that can house 1,500 students.
