F & B (Food and Beverage) services currently has great potential and jobs in demand. Mostly, careers in Food and Beverage services are available in Executive Chef, Nightclub Manager, Catering Manager, Wine Server, Line Cook, Kitchen Helper, Food and Beverage Service Supervisor, Food and Beverage Server, Beverage Services Manager, Bartender, Baker, etc. Because of demand in India hardly this industry considers degree or Diplomas, if someone has good experience. If you have good skills definitely will be known in the industry, then you may get job on basis of experience in average organization. But, in reputed and multinational organization, you needed to have professional qualification. It all depends upon how famous/known you are in the industry.

It is Indeed a great to know that you are interested in doing your engineering albeit in a distance mode from either a foreign college or from an university in India. I am attaching a link that will give you a list of all the Institutions or universities in India that are offering engineering through distance learning. The link also gives the methods of admission and all related information. I am afraid engineering degree by distance education from a foreign college is perhaps not a very good thought because nothing much is known about these degrees and how much they will be useful in securing a job.
