Among the above, EEE has comparatively better scope but remember that your college selection also plays a major role.

Pursue the courses from a good college because both the branches have equal opportunities to get a good job and the rest depends on how you study your engineering and enhance your skill so that those can be used in your work area.

Hello Masarat,
The seats for lateral admission can be taken as 10% of the normal intake of first year. However this is only a rough figure. The university will normally announce seats availability at the start of admission process. What I can advise you is that try to score as much marks in diploma to ensure admission.
Best wishes to you.

Yes, nowadays people look for companies or higher packages. That's what the primary concern is. It is little bit difficult to find core jobs. People try to get enter in companies first means they want job whether in core field or communication field (as in case of ECE). In my opinion you should first go for job whether in core field or not. Because you will get to know the environment and job experience. And then you can switch to any core field and get more packages as well. Just go for experience first. Best of luck.
For any further query, please feel free to contact me.

Pursing B.Tech from any NIT is good because they provide very good placements and the college has very high value. Getting a job after engineering from NIT will anyway boost the candidate's resume. Moreover every NIT has recognition from the Government of India and the college an be better than almost all private colleges.

Hi Hartej,
For CSE, average package is around INR. 7 lacs - INR. 9 lacs and that of ECE is around INR. 5 lacs - INR. 6 lacs. Enough data is not provided by the college, but the highest package of 2017 was 40 lacs and placement record each year is more than 85%. Hope it helps.
