Engineering Admission Process

Engineering is a full-time four-year undergraduate course degree offered by Jadavpur University, Kolkata and approved by AICTE.
Admission Process:
Provisional admission will be made on the basis of the Provisional Admission Letter for a seat of Jadavpur University issued by the WB-JEM for Joint Entrance Examination for Admission to Engineering, Medical/Technological Degree Colleges at any of the Reporting Centers provided the candidate satisfies the prescribed following medical fitness (except for candidates applying under Physically Challenged quota).
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination in General Stream of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other equivalent examination of a University/Board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English are eligible for provisional admission to the First Year Class of the aforesaid Undergraduate Engg/Tech/Arch/ Pharm courses.

Stipend goes from 10000 to 15000. I am studying B.Tech electronics and communication engineering at GCC landman because I want to develop my skills to become a good software engineer. Placement is pretty good, in fact among the best in my state around 75-80% of students got placed, Wipro- 3l, cognizant- 3.3, etc 3.25, Capgemini- 3l, tech Mahindra- 3.4l. Yes, our college has tie-ups with many companies which provides us internships like Microsoft, Dell, etc. And the general stipend is 20000 and the experience must be good as the companies are so renowned and the stipend is also very good. Faculty members are good but there is a lack of faculty members in top departments I. e teachers for the training of placements and programming. Otherwise, all faculty members are masters in their fields. Short, the college has to work with the faculty of the top department. I would rate it 4. all good food good building good rooms good. Just one flaw is the sharing with more than 2 students. Campus life is awesome, the campus is just 10-15 min away from Chandigarh and has all the facilities from food courts like CCD, subway, Nescafe, etc. To sports facilities for cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, basketball, table tennis, etc. '.
