Hi, prospective BTech students are required to satisfy the eligibility criteria set by the colleges. Those meeting these conditions are eligible to apply for the course. Below are the standard eligibility criteria for admission to B.Tech colleges in Karnataka:

Applicants should have completed Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 60% from a recognised board, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects (pass percentages may vary across different colleges). To be considered for admission, candidates must undertake standard entrance exams such as KCET.

Mechatronics Engineering college ranking plays an important role for students when selecting the best college for themselves. A good ranking is synonymous with faculty experience, industrial recognition and networking. Having said that, you also need to focus on other factors like the course content, infrastructure, hands on learning, course fees, placements and alumni feedback. A power pack combination of all these factors would make the mechatronics academic journey worthwhile for you.

You would usually have a percentile between above 97–98 on a JEE Mains mark of 165, meaning you would most likely get admission into top NITs such as NIT Trichy, Surathkal, Warangal, or IIITs for CSE, ECE, or IT. These institutions have great placement rates (average 10+ LPA for CSE) and cheap fees (~1.2 lakh/year). You also can apply for the best options on GFTIs etc., and JoSAA counselling to make the best of any category or rank.
