The last date for GATE form correction is Nov 24, 2023. Further, GATE 2024 exam will be conducted on Feb 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024. Below are some of the other important IIT Indore latest updates:
- IIT JAM 2024 online registration window is now closed. IIT JAM 2024 Admit Card will be available online to download from Jan 8, 2024. Further, the IIT JAM 2024 exam will be held on Feb 11, 2024.
- The JEE Main 2024 registration has started for Session 1, candidates seeking admission can apply till Nov 30, 2023. Further, JEE Main exam 2024 for session 1 will be held between Jan 24, 2024 to Feb 1, 2024. JEE Main Session 2 exam will be held between Apr 1, 2024 and Apr 15, 2024.

IIT Indore Admission Process 2024
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Indore offers UG, PG, and Doctoral level courses, namely BTech, MTech, MSc and PhD. These courses are taught through mainly three departments of the institute such as the Department of Engineering, the Department of Science and the Department of Humanities & Social Science. While merit is the basic eligibility for all the courses offered at IIT Indore, admission to each one of them is entrance exam-based. The institute considers the scores of various entrance exams conducted at the national level. IIT Indore Admission Process 2024
IIT Indore admission process includes the application process, selection round, cutoff, merit list and counselling. The step-wise admission process is given below:
Step 1: IIT Indore Application Process
Candidates seeking admission at IIT Indore are required to complete the application form for the course-specific entrance exam. For example, for BTech, candidates are required to apply for JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced application. Similarly, for the MSc, IIT JAM application form is required to be completed.
Step 2: Selection Rounds
IIT Indore admits students to BTech courses on the basis of JEE Main and JEE Advanced scores. Candidates are allotted seats in JoSAA Counselling for BTech, BTech-MTech (Dual Degree) and BS courses. Admission to MTech is through GATE followed by COAP Counselling. The institute considers IIT JAM and CCMN Counselling for MSc courses. Candidates can check with the admission office for the selection rounds of the rest of the courses.
Step 3: Release of Cutoff list, Counselling & Admission Confirmation
The cutoff for BTech, MTech and MSc courses is released by the respective counselling bodies. For merit-based courses, IIT Indore will release the course-wise merit list on its official website. As per the merit list, candidates are called for counselling for seat allotment. Shortlisted candidates and then required to pay the admission fee to confirm their seats.
