The admission forms are not out yet but they should be out by second week of April, and the entrance exam will take place tentatively in the month of May. Please keep track of the website for admission updates.

Some fashion designing institute do have entrance test some institute are NIFT, INIFD, Pearl, etc. but getting into fashion designing field is amazing as it has a good career scope and job placements. So, no doubt, you can go for fashion designing course.

NIFT is definitely the best fashion designing institute in India. All its centers in India are the best, be it Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, etc. It's upon you whether which preferred location you want to choose.

Hi,
If you are specifically talking about government jobs after completing Master of science in jewellery design and management, then there are very few opportunities in this field. It's more of a private job thing. But you can get a job in teaching field in government colleges of designing like NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology), NID (National Institute of Design), etc. But for that you have to complete your education first. Fashion designing in Alld university is categorised under the IPS department which is Institute for professional studies. There are four courses under IPS among which fashion designing is one. The admission forms for the entrance exam will be available around April.
The exam will be conducted in the month of may or June. You can fill the form online by visiting the official site of alld university. After qualifying the entrance exam you will be called for counseling in the IPS/food and technology department and will be confirmed for the admission.

Hi,
The answer is a big no. It's not worth at all to pursue Master's degree in jewellery designing from distance learning in India and it is not only about India, you just can't go for a distance learning jewellery designing course. These are the reasons why I am saying no:
1. It is a practical course, so how will you manage to learn through distance when it's meant to be a regular course.
2. None of the good and reputed colleges of India offer a distance jewellery designing Master's degree.
