At GIBS Business School the selection process is simple and based on your overall profile, academics and communication skills. Interviews and group discussions are usually part of the process for most programs.
Fill the application form and submit documents
Submit entrance exam score if available like MAT, CAT or CMAT
Shortlisting based on academics and profile
Group Discussion to check communication and thinking ability
Personal Interview to understand confidence and interest
Final selection based on overall performance
Overall GD and interview are generally important but the process is straightforward and student friendly.

At GIBS Business School, placements are pretty decent. The college focuses a lot on training, communication, and interview practice, so students feel more ready when companies come for hiring. It's more about building skills step by step and then getting placed based on your performance.

- Internship support before final placements
- Placement depends on your own effort and participation
- Friendly training environment for students
- Average: around 7–8.5 LPA

I decided on GIBS because they offer an experiential component with a focus on placement, which became more apparent when I looked into their actual course offerings and placement records.
Another reason for choosing GIBS was the CPMP (Career & Personality Development Program), where they begin developing your communication skills; building your confidence and helping you prepare for interviews from the very first day.
Also, GIBS provides dual specialisation (so you can explore as many career options as you want) but their placement records and different recruiters across different industries are impressive, along with their personalized
