I studied at GIBS Bangalore and after the campus upgrades the overall environment felt more comfortable and better suited for both studies and student activities. There are well equipped classrooms sports facilities an amphitheatre cafeteria activity spaces and other areas for students to spend time and work together. 

The teaching environment also felt more practical with presentations projects group activities industry sessions and regular events along with the usual classroom learning. Since I was also involved in student activities I got to use different parts of the campus quite often.

Overall the upgraded setup at GIBS made the campus feel more active and student friendly rather than being a place that's only about attending classes.

The newly launched 10-acre GIBS Mind Valley campus is an innovatively constructed modern campus made with this thought in mind – the creation of a green campus that will fulfill the needs of students and provide them with pleasant learning experience. The new infrastructure has been created in such a way that modern architectural solutions meet a huge need for open spaces, innovations and recreational activities for students.

The GIBS Business School PGDM programme gives students options for dual specializations as well as industry-driven electives resulting in a customized programme easily tailored to meet their career aspirations. It includes the core management subjects and specialisation electives. Practical learning experiences, internships, live projects, and exposure to the industry comprise the programme.

PGDM specializations available at GIBS Business School include marketing management, finance management, human resource management, operations and supply chain management, international business, business analytics, artificial intelligence and business analytics, digital marketing, information technology, fintech management, product management, agribusiness management and health care management.

The GIBS Business School takes admissions for PGDM/MBA based on scores of various entrance examinations at national and state level. The names of exams included are CAT MAT XAT CMAT ATMA GMAT and State CET (if applicable). The selection of candidates is made based on their exam scores obtained through entrance examination, their academic performance SOP as well as personal interview.

In the case of the BBA programme no entrance examination is required. The admission process is based on the Class 12 (10+2) exam score followed by the admission process conducted by the institution which may include personal Interview (PI) and group discussion (in some cases).

In the course of implementation of the programme, GIBS Business School ensures practical exposure and readiness for the industry. GIBS adopts its unique learning model where major components of the curriculum are dedicated to practical activities including live projects, case study analysis, internships, industrial visits, business simulations, role-play, and fieldwork which help students adapt what they know in practice.
