Based on my experience, GIBS Bangalore offers specializations like Marketing, Finance, HR, Business Analytics, Operations, and Entrepreneurship.

When I joined, I wasn't completely sure which specialisation would be the best for me. As the course went on, we attended guest lectures, workshops, industry sessions, and internships. These experiences gave me a better understanding of each field, so choosing a specialisation became much easier.

What I liked was that the college didn't just ask us to pick a specialisation and study from books. We also got opportunities to see how that field works in the real world through practical exposure and

If you're planning to apply for BBA at GIBS Bangalore, don't wait until the last minute.

As per the latest admission updates, the application deadline for the current admission cycle is July 31, 2026, though colleges can sometimes extend dates depending on seat availability.

Based on my experience, I'd suggest applying as early as possible. It gives you enough time to complete the admission process, submit your documents, and avoid any last-minute rush. If you're interested in GIBS, I'd recommend applying soon rather than waiting for the final date.

Yes, GIBS Business School sets minimum eligibility criteria for entry into its BBA program. The programme invites students irrespective of academic backgrounds since no subject requirement is there.
Eligibility criteria to apply for BBA:

  • Minimum educational qualification is completion of Class 12 or equivalent from any recognised educational institution.
  • 50% marks in the qualifying exam is the minimum eligibility criterion.
  • Students from Science, Commerce, and Arts streams can apply for the program.
  • No subject requirement has been specified, which allows all streams to apply.
  • Students waiting for Class 12 results can also apply, provided the

GIBS Bangalore supports students throughout the course, not just during placements.

From the beginning, we had sessions on communication skills, aptitude, resume building, mock interviews, and group discussions. Along with that, the college helped students get internship opportunities so we could gain practical experience before final placements.

I liked that the placement team kept guiding us at every stage. If someone needed help with interviews, resumes, or career guidance, they were always there to support.

Overall, I felt the college focused on preparing students step by step, so by the time placements started, we were much more conf

For me, a smart career move means choosing a college that helps you grow, not just gives you a degree.

That's why I feel GIBS Bangalore is a good choice. Along with academics, you get internships, industry interactions, workshops, placement support, and plenty of opportunities to improve your communication and confidence.

By the time you finish the course, you don't just have a certificate—you've also gained practical experience and skills that companies actually look for. That's what makes GIBS feel like a smart career move to me.

GIBS Business School differentiates itself from other colleges because it is focused on creating professionals and not just giving degrees. It combines education with practical knowledge, interactions with industries, and personal development.

Why is GIBS different from other colleges?

  • The curriculum is industry-oriented with a mix of theory and practical experience.
  • Live projects, industrial visits, case studies, and internships to provide experience of the real world.
  • Career and Personality Management Programme develops communication and other skills necessary for leadership.
  • Strong corporate connections with gues

I think one reason GIBS Bangalore attracts a lot of MBA and PGDM aspirants is because students hear about it from seniors and alumni. That's how I first came to know about it too.

After joining, I realized there was always something happening on campus—guest speakers, competitions, workshops, company interactions, or student activities. It never felt like a place where you just attend classes and go home.

Another thing is that the college gives students enough opportunities to improve themselves. Some people become better at public speaking, some build confidence, and others discover what kind of career they actually want.

There are many BBA colleges in Bangalore, but I'd say don't choose a college just because it's popular. Look at what you'll actually get during the three years.

For me, GIBS Bangalore stood out because students get plenty of exposure right from the beginning. There are industry interactions, certification programs, workshops, presentations, club activities, and internships that help you build skills along with your degree.

Another reason I'd recommend GIBS is that the college focuses on preparing students for the future, whether you want to pursue an MBA, start working after BBA, or even explore entrepreneurship.

If someone asked me for a
