As a GIBS student, I've seen that a lot of good companies come for both placements and internships. It's honestly one of the best parts of being here. Some of the top names we usually see are:

  • Amazon

  • Deloitte

  • EY

  • TCS

  • Wipro

  • HDFC Bank

  • Byju's

  • Asian Paints

  • Kotak Mahindra Bank

  • Reliance

  • Aditya Birla Group

  • HCL

For internships also, we get plenty of options from marketing, finance, HR, analytics, and operations. The placement team is super active, so we don't have to stress much—they keep bringing companies throughout the year.

Overall, companies coming to GIBS are quite good, and as a student I genuinely feel the opportunities are solid.

My expectation from an MBA/PGDM at GIBS would be to get a holistic learning beyond academics that helps in building real corporate-ready skills. I would expect the programme to provide great industry exposure, live projects, and internships, and expert-led sessions that would gear me up for real challenges. I also hope the transformation into leadership development, communication training, personality enhancement, and mentorship from the experienced faculty. Also, from GIBS, the job placement is supposed to be excellent, which will help me in exploring the career opportunities and guide me toward the right professional path. In a nutsh
