I had compared a few colleges in Bangalore before joining my PGDM, and that's how I ended up choosing GIBS Bangalore.
What stood out to me was the overall learning experience. Along with regular classes, there were workshops, guest sessions, internships, industry interactions, business events, and plenty of opportunities to participate in different activities.
The campus environment was friendly, the faculty were supportive, and I got to meet people from different places. By the end of the course, I felt more confident and better prepared for my career.

Based on my experience, GIBS has received good recognition in recent rankings.
IIRF 2025: Ranked 49th among private B-Schools in India.
Times 2025: Ranked 71st among Management Institutes in India.
When I was looking for colleges, I checked rankings too, but I didn't make my decision based only on that. I wanted a college that offered good exposure, practical learning, internships, and placement support.
That's why I chose GIBS Bangalore, and I'm happy with my decision. My suggestion is to use rankings as one factor, but also look at the learning environment, industry exposure, and the opportunities you'll get during your cours

Based on my experience, one thing I really loved about GIBS was the campus.
The 10-acre Mind Valley campus has a lot of greenery, so it feels calm and refreshing. After a busy day of classes, it was nice to just walk around, sit with friends, or spend some time outside. Those small breaks really helped us relax before the next class.
I think the campus adds a different feel to college life. It doesn't feel like you're stuck inside classrooms all day. There's enough open space to unwind, spend time with friends, and enjoy the overall atmosphere.
Looking back, the campus is one of the reasons I have so many good memories from my time at GIB

For me, yes—it was worth it.
I didn't choose GIBS randomly. I spent a lot of time comparing colleges, talking to seniors, and understanding what each college offered. In the end, GIBS felt like the right fit.
What I liked was that I got to learn beyond textbooks. There were industry interactions, workshops, internships, presentations, and plenty of opportunities to improve myself. Over time, I could actually see my confidence and communication skills getting better.
I also got placed at KPMG, so when I look back, I feel the decision worked out well for me.

Honestly, that's how I felt about GIBS. It never felt like I was just going to college, attending classes, and coming back home.
Before joining, I had compared a few colleges and even spoke to friends and cousins who were studying in different places. After all that, I finally chose GIBS Bangalore, and I'm really glad I did.
Throughout my PGDM, there was always something happening—workshops, guest sessions, industry visits, internships, college events, and placement activities. I got to meet new people, learn from industry experts, and improve my confidence along the way.
I later got placed at KPMG, and when I look back now, I feel GIBS
