I did my studies at GIBS Bangalore, and from my experience, the kind of success you get depends on how much effort you put in. The college gives you plenty of opportunities, but it's up to you to make the most of them.
For me, success wasn't just about getting a placement. It was also about becoming more confident, improving my communication skills, learning how to work with different people, and getting exposure to the corporate world.
During the course, you get opportunities like:
Internship experience
Placement support
Industry interactions
Workshops and guest lectures
Personality development
Team projects and presentations

I did my studies at GIBS Bangalore, and one thing I genuinely enjoyed was that college life never felt boring. It wasn't just about attending lectures every day.
There was always something going on—guest talks, workshops, industry visits, presentations, competitions, or team activities. Because of that, learning felt more practical and less like just studying for exams.
During my time there, I got opportunities to:
- Go for internships
- Visit companies
- Attend guest lectures
- Work on group projects
- Take part in workshops and events and more
For me, these experiences made a big difference. I didn't just learn from books; I learned by doing things,

Yes, honestly, I felt GIBS gave me enough practical learning.
When I joined, I was expecting regular classes like any other college. But over time, I got involved in internships, presentations, workshops, projects, guest lectures, and placement activities. Because of that, I learned a lot of things that you normally can't learn just from textbooks.
Personally, I got good exposure and became much more confident during my time there. I was able to improve my communication skills, interact with industry people, and understand how the corporate world works.
At the end of the day, that's what mattered to me. I learned a lot, got good exposure,

Yes, the placement information is available publicly, and from what I have seen, GIBS Bangalore has reported an average package of around 8–9 LPA and the highest package going up to around 20 LPA in recent years.
I did my studies at GIBS, and honestly, what impressed me was not just the highest package number. The college puts a lot of focus on helping students prepare for placements through mock interviews, aptitude training, presentations, internships, and industry interactions.
For me, the bigger thing was that students from different backgrounds were able to get good opportunities. Some got higher packages, some got average package

The student enrollment at GIBS Business School is really based on the programme and the type of student being enrolled, but as an average number you can expect:
- PGDM: Between 240–300 a year (most commonly reported numbers are either 240 or 300)
- BBA: Approximately 180
When you add these together, the average number of students admitted to both programs every year is:
- PGDM: 250–300
- BBA: 180
The size of these admissions allows GIBS to have a good level of involvement in the classroom, as well as allowing the students access to an adequate amount of exposure to business through industry visits, club activities, internships and placemen

I did my studies at GIBS Bangalore, and one thing I noticed was that you don't realize how much you've changed until you look back after a year or two.
When I joined, I was mainly focused on academics. But over time, because of the different activities, interactions, events, and opportunities on campus, I started becoming more confident and comfortable around people.
There were many chances to participate, take responsibility, work in teams, interact with professionals, and try things that were completely new to me. Those experiences taught me a lot about myself.
I didn't join thinking I would change so much, but by the end of the c

I did my studies at GIBS Bangalore, and I feel one reason students like GIBS is because you don't just sit in classrooms for two or three years and leave with a degree.
There is always something happening, whether it's a workshop, guest session, internship, industry interaction, presentation, or campus activity. Because of that, you get exposed to a lot of things and learn much more than just your subjects.
Personally, I felt I became more confident, improved the way I communicate, and got a better understanding of how the corporate world works. By the time I completed my course, I felt much more prepared than when I had joined. That's p
