GIBS Bangalore's core programme is the PGDM programme (AICTE-approved), which focuses on an industry-focused curriculum with international exposure. The PGDM programme offers specializations in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, International Business, Business Analytics, and Operations and Supply Chain Management, all of which include a value-added certificate, live project, and training in entrepreneurship. GIBS also offers a BBA programme (Bangalore University-affiliated) that concentrates on the basics of business. Both programs emphasize the importance of experiential learning, leader development, and innovation. GIBS has strong corporate partnerships with the businesses where workshops are conducted, along with guest lectures and various experiential modules, with real-world implications that span various sectors.

GIBS Bangalore has achieved a remarkable placement record with a consistent 100% placement rate in the last few years. GIBS Bangalore has hosted 260+ companies for campus drives, with many of them being reputed companies in the EdTech, market research, manufacturing, and finance sectors. The average packages are around 7.8 LPA, with the highest package going up to 16.15 LPA. Students are also provided internship opportunities with 80+ companies, that includes leadership positions in many start-ups. The placement process includes extensive training and grooming that prepares students to be industry-ready. The alumni network at the Graduate Institute of Business Studies (GIBS) plays a highly active role supporting current students with job placements. There is a good number of alumni who work as mentors, sharing career development advice and their wisdom of the industry. There are also good referrals made by alumni to job opportunities at businesses in which they work. GIBS calls on alumni to help in placement drives and events, acting as a bridge between students and industry. Their affiliation provides both credibility and confidence for students. Alumni do not provide placements for all students, but they have a limiting opportunity for students and provide better referral and coaching to prepare for interviews and paths.
