GIBS Business School

Through their faculty's assistance, GIBS students are provided with guidance in transforming ideas into action. Faculty will assist with research projects through crafting an initial research problem, enhancing research methodology, and publishing findings. In addition, they provide innovation in entrepreneurship by conducting workshops and using case study methods and mentorship. Faculty also link students to industry experts and alumni, giving them the opportunity to discuss real-time, practical experiences. In the creation and incubation of new businesses, faculty provide ongoing structured support from the creation of business plans to assistance with creation of business pitches while gaining access to resources such as seed money and connections to potential investors. Faculty assist students not only in teaching, but also in developing self-confidence, developing creativity, and developing the resilience they will need to succeed in the real world.

GIBS Business School had the highest number of recruiters ever to participate in its last placement season — over 220. This means students had many great options across different industries. In addition to this, GIBS also had more than 90 companies that came only for summer internship opportunities; allowing students to get real-world experience and practical learning before entering the workforce full-time. The strong participation by employers shows how committed GIBS is to helping students connect with potential employers and being there for students throughout their career paths. Because of these high numbers of participants at GIBS, students also gained access to companies that offered both full-time positions as well as internships. This enabled students to acquire both skills and confidence while they prepared for future careers.

A modern structure that was design with thought is how the new GIBS campus looks like! It has large classrooms with natural light and an interactive smart board. Labs have also been upgraded with the latest equipment so that students will have access to all the latest tools needed for hands-on experience in the area of practice. The library offers a comfortable, inviting space; there are some quiet nooks and crannies as well as digital resources for those who like to use a computer while they study. The hostel facilities provide comfort; they have clean rooms, provide safe living conditions and provide plenty of food. These spaces provide an environment in which students can achieve success in relation to personal growth, research and academic achievement, while allowing them to enjoy their time at school.
