You cannot become a dietitian after doing a certificate in a Food and Nutrition course.
In India, becoming a registered dietitian requires completion of a recognised Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or a related field, along with specific practical training and passing a qualifying exam conducted by the Indian Dietetic Association (IDA) or other relevant authorities.

For admission to the M.Sc. For example; to pursue M.Sc in Food and Nutrition at Calcutta University, non-CU (Calcutta Universit) candidates need background of Chemistry or Physiology upto the graduation level. This is so that students are all coming to the couse with a base level of knowledge.
