According to the IIT Madras JAM cutoff 2025, the cutoff rank has released between 133 and 198 for the General AI quota. Similarly, for the SC AI quota, the cutoff stood between 917 and 1382. So, getting admission at IIT Madras via IIT JAM, SC AI category candidates need to acquire a rank upto 1382.

IIT Madras accepts JEE Advanced scores. Candidates aiming for IIT Madras for BTech courses must have a rank between 146 and 7996 for the General AI category candidates. Wherein, the courses having the most competitive ranks and least competitive ranks were B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering and B.Tech. in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, respectively. For OBC AI category, the needed rank ranged between 101 and 3486.

IIT Madras offers various BTech and BTech Integrated courses via JEE Advanced exam scores. Candidates belonging to SC and ST categories acquiring a rank of 850 can get admission to various BTech courses under SC and ST AI quota. IIT Madras accepts JEE Advanced scores. If we talk about the IIT Madras 2023 cutoff, candidates had witnessed lenient cutoffs as compared to IIT Madras JEE Advanced cutoff 2024.
