First of all, if you want to crack JEE Mains, then you need to solve as many question as you can, it's not that you solve from particular book or not. And, it is even not that previous year questions will come, so it's better to solve 3-4 previous year full length paper, so that you can understand what type of questions will come. Now, after that start solving questions from anywhere, do it for half a month then start solving full length paper with your stopwatch on (solve all 90 questions) like this you will be able to get your problem solving speed with accuracy. Yes, you are eligible for JEE Mains. Every 12th appeared students who have done there 12th in science stream with physics, chemistry and maths are eligible.

No, you can't. According to CBSE rules you should be a 12th appearing student or 12th passed student to appear for JEE Mains. You have only 3 chances to appear for it, the 12th appearing year and the NEST two years after that forget JEE.

Do not worry about your marks. The minimum aggregate is 50% required for admission in B.Tech in computer science and the admission is through centralized counseling conducted by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) based on rank/ score in MHT-CET/JEE Mains.

Yes, definitely, JEE Mains is considered as an eligibility criterion by some of the top universities for engineering. So it is likely that you might get admission. IIT, NIT, SRM, TIET, etc. consider JEE Mains as the main criteria in fact.

You need to score more than 275 for being on the safer side. If you are willing for SPA hostels then you should get a rank under 500. This year, just 20 boys and 15 girls got hostels other students are living as PG near the college.
