If you are getting core branch in GSITS even after home state quota, then don't go for lower NIT's as then GSITS will be better. Things are not only dependent on the NITs, also, GSITS has mostly NIT type student quality and sincere curriculum. I would strongly recommend you to go for GSITS.

Hello,
I hope you are doing well. There is nothing any type of scholarship on the basis of JEE main marks. The college offers scholarships to extra meritorious. Their is also TFWS scheme. Also, Scholarship for students who are under sub category of cast. And EBC scheme is available here. There around 30-40% scholarships available in the colleges.

Sorry, as with home state and your category, you need atleast 120 marks to be able to get into it this year which though your rank will not satisfy. I would suggest you to move for college level counselling after JOSAA counselling which may lend you something better.

I'd recommend you to visit:
https://josaa.nic.in/josaaorcrarchieve/Result/OpeningClosingRankArchieveN.aspx?Year=2017
and check the previous year's OBC cutoff's there and you would definitely get a good idea of your selection. Also, take care of important dates of the counselling.
