According to me, you may get a seat in NIT.
But for a clearer idea, you should visit josaa.nic.in
and check previous years' cut-offs of NITs of home state and other states quota and also for various categories (general, OBC, SC, ST, etc).

You may get admission in NIT of your home state.
By the way, you can check the previous year's cut-offs on josaa.nic.in
Apart from these, you may also get admission in Thapar Institute and other private colleges of your state.

You will get your preferred branch in some NIT and core branches in Good NIT. Even you have a chance of getting get BIT Mesra (not CSE).

If you want good NIT, then you should have a score of 200+. If any average NIT then a score of 150+ is safe for mechanical engineering. Try to score maximum marks, it will surely land you up in a reputed well known NIT.
