Why insistence on engineering? I would advise you to move away from this field. Why not try Humanities or commerce? There are plenty of opportunities in both these fields.

For cracking JEE Mains and your 12th board exam in physics, chemistry and maths I suggest you to go through your NCERT books, solve each solved and unsolved question, each line as it will help you in clearing the exams.

Fundamentally, if you are domicile if Gujrat then GUJCET. However, some colleges in Gujarat admit some students based on JEE Mains also. I would advise you to appear for both.

Preparation strategy for both these exams is actually very simple. Study every subject every day. Assign time time for exercise, yoga & entertainment. Assign some time for review if concepts. Take mock test every week. Brush up on weak areas based on result of mock test.

These OBC students are scoring quite well. In addition, this year. marks of 12th will not be counted for deciding rank. Also your rank is decided by his many of your category have scored more than you. Wait till exams. Many sites will come up for predicting rank.

Yes, this board is recognised. But to get admission in NITs, you need to score at least 75% and score around 250 in JEE Mains. Without appearing in JEE Mains, you can not get admission.

Improvement if allowed by your board is acceptable in JEE Mains. But, I advise you to study well at least this time so that your score improves and crosses 75%.

Yes, IITs and NITs have hiked fees. But, at the same time graded fee waiver has also been announced. Those with less than Rs. 1 lakh will be fully waived. Fees increase gradually till income of Rs. 5 lakhs. Then full fees for general category students.

Yes, you can join Nirma University against the all India quota of seats. Minimum marks specified for general category candidates are 45%. This institute has good name and I advise you to study well for getting admission.
