The main change that has taken place this year is that the marks obtained in 12th will not be counted towards deciding AIR in JEE Mains. Rest, all almost remains same.

HBTI has a good name in market and placement cell is also apparently working well. As per my information, close to 100% placement is achieved in this institute.

To get a good college you will have to score little better. List is prepared category wise. I feel you should aim for scoring around 200 to get admission.

I don't know how but your question has come to me almost 7 months after posting. Admission process involves registering after results of JEE Mains are declared. You need to score about 270 for admission here.

The institute does offer scholarships to bright students, but it is based on your performance every year. If you do not perform well then scholarship may be withdrawn also. Please check for details at the website of Manipal.

Key for preparing well is to set a timetable. This should have time for each subject everyday. It should also have time for exercise and yoga everyday. Some time for entertainment. Take mock test every week. Brush up on weak areas.
That's all.
Best wishes.
