It depends on particular NITs and the course you want to take, but on an average, its 140 and that would rank you somewhere around 15000.

As you live in Shimla , i would recommend you UPES Dehradoon that would be pretty much nearer to you. UPES Dehradoon condusts its own Etrance like UPESEAT apart from JEE score card, the exam is relatively pretty easy, of course it has to be as JEE is considered to be the most tough in the engineering entrance domain. So if you are looking forward to take admission in a college that takes Score cards apart from JEE then this college is the one to go for. Moreover this college also offers core sector courses like petroleum engineering, aerospace engineerins, specialized CSE courses which is being pursued like a hot cake, as you also have

I believe a score of 180-200 along with a good score in your respective board will secure a seat for you in NIT Trichy.

Score 160 and you have a chance of CSE in NIT Hamirpur, with a sure chance of getting the CSE Integrated branch. Also, if you have a reservation quota, the marks needed are even less.

An upsurge in the Laboratory equipment such as hand pipettes, test tubes, beakers, micro tips etc was evident lately due to the NBA Accreditation. The Department of Biotechnology is accredited for 3 years. As a result of this, the lab facilities and the services are continuously improving.Arrangements are been made to increase the departmental area as the main issue that we are facing is lack of proper work space.Currently, the facilities provided can be marked 6 on the scale of 10.Though you will be guided by skilled teachers but the limitation in Laboratory materials might create hindrance. As far as the cutoffs are concerned,It changes eve

Hi Gaurav,
One of the most common hitches that a lot of students face while registering for this exam is to choose between both the modes – online and offline. Infact, a bunch of students that https://shiksha.com spoke to still face the same issue.
As a matter of fact, when JEE Main first made its debut in the year 2013, not every student taking the exam was comfortable with the online mode. However, on the other hand, there were students who were quite happy about the fact that taking the exam online would expose them to a completely new experience.
Everything has its own pros and cons and ,likewise, both online and offline mode too ha

Hi Sneha,
You will easily get admissions in most if the "INDIA'S 1st NON-PROFIT . AICTE APPROVED . BEST .blah blah" private engineering colleges.
Won't take any names like SRM, LPU, MIT (manipal. is it short for manipulation?), KIIT,.
Here is the branch choice list (from financial point of view)->
10lakhs . mechanical or. electrical
15lakhs. electronics
20 lakhs. CSE
50lakhs . board of directors
Hope this information helps. Please feel free to revert. Click on the thumbs up or mark it as the best, if you found this useful.
Wish You Luck!

Hi,
Direct admission in B.tech is not possible because almost every college and university across India conducts entrance test .
If you don't want to opt for JEE mains , you can opt for other entrance exams like BITS, VIT and other state entrance exams
*The only possible way for direct admission is through management quota but premier institutes don't have this option too.
