If we compare the M.Tech programme of SVUCE, Rajalakshmi Engineering College (REC) and CIT Chennai, we will see that REC and CIT Chennai have the same tuition fee at INR 50,000 whereas, SVUCE M.Tech tuition fee is varied. The total tuition fee of the M.Tech programme is INR 37,800 to 86,000 depending on the type of course chosen.

If we compare SVUCE, Rajalakshmi Engineering College and CIT Chennai, we can see that SVUCE offers more M.Tech programmes than the other two colleges. Rajalakshmi Engineering College offers 11 M.Tech courses whereas Rajalakshmi Engineering College only offers eight and CIT Chennai only offers three courses. SVUCE also has a more varied tuition fee, with total tuition fee of the programme at INR 37,000 - 86,000 depending upon the course chosen.

Yes, there is scholarships for the GATE students at Amrita School of Engineering Bengaluru. Students with a GATE and without GAE score are offered scholarships. All GATE Qualified students can avail monthly stipend of INR 12,400, per month from AICTE. Scholarship awarded by the Institution is applicable ONLY for Non- GATE candidates and is allotted for the 1st semester ONLY. There are two categories of scholarship awarded to the Non-gate candidates admitted to the M.Tech programme

Amrita School of Engineering Bengaluru accepts only Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering or GATE is a national-level entrance examination for admission to M.Tech course. GATE Qualified candidates having valid GATE score will be given Direct Admission. Further, non GATE qualified students will be admitted based on academic records and performance in the interview.

The eligibility criteria for Amrita School of Engineering Bengaluru M.Tech CSE is to secure a minimum 60% or CGPA 6.0 in B.E. / B.Tech. / M.Sc. in Engineering or Sciences discipline. The degree should be of relevance to the opted M.Tech. programme.  Further, candidates will be admitted based on the GATE score and Non-GATE qualified students will be admitted based on academic records and performance in interview. Candidates with a valid eligibility criteria & performance in the interview will be admitted to the first year of the two-year M.Tech programmes.
