JMI admission to many courses are entrance based, and some of these courses do accept CUET to shortlist candidates. The courses at Jamia Millia Islamia that candidates can apply to on the basis of CUET scores are BA, BSc, etc. Candidates can also participate in the JMI admission process through their CUET-PG scores for Masters programmes.

For admission to any distance learning course at JMI, candidates need to download the application form from the official website of Jamia Millia Islamia. The duly downloaded and completed application form has to be submitted to the respective Programme Coordinator, CDOL, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi or selected Learner Support Centre. The application form has to be accompanied by an application fee in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Jamia Millia Islamia payable at New Delhi.” The application fee for all the distance learning programmes (except MBA & B.Ed) is INR 500, while for MBA and B.Ed programme, it is INR 700.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For General category under All India, opening rank was 7216 and closing rank was 7216. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to the B.Tech in Computer Engineering in Jamia Millia Islamia [JMI] is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to first confirm the category in which they are applying and then check the cut-offs.

Selected candidates are advised to complete their admission formalities when the schedule is released. Students are required to bring their Admit Card issued for the Entrance Test and attested copies of the following documents, along with the originals, at the time of admission.

For 2025, cut off was 40794 for General category candidates in General All India quota for Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in Jamia Millia Islamia [JMI]. Students must note that the NEET cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

For last year closing rank for Discontinued (Jan 2023)- Bachelor of Dental Surgery was 35224 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota.

Application: The candidate must fill the application form of the respective college or university they wish to apply to. The application form may be available online or offline. The application fee also needs to be paid. Merit list: Based on the NATA or JEE Main Paper-2 score and other eligibility criteria, the college or university releases a merit list of selected candidates. Counseling: Selected candidates are called for counseling or interview rounds to further evaluate their eligibility for admission. Admission: The candidate must pay the admission fee and complete the admission process, which may include document verification, seat confirmation, and submission of required documents. As for the admission form, you can obtain it from the respective college or university's official website or admission office. You can fill the form online or download it and submit it offline. Be sure to check the deadline for submission of the form and other important dates related to the admission process.

The JMI Entrance Exam Cutoff 2025 has been published for all rounds. According to the JMI Delhi cutoff 2025,  for the General category candidates under the Home State quota, the cutoff ranged from 62.75 and 63.75 percentile in the first round closing cutoff, wherein  BSc (Hons) in Geography was the toughest course for admission, followed by BA (Hons) in Geography , with the cutoff in the first round being, 63.75, 63.25 and 63.25, respectively. The cutoff in the last round for the same above mentioned courses was the same as the first round closing cutoffs. 

Jamia Millia Islamia cutoff for BTech is offered across multiple specialisations, admissions to which are based on JEE Main entrance exam scores.
