For Patna University Ph.D. admission you have to fill the admissions form or entrance form online through Patna university website. Eligibility Criteria -
Candidates having Master's Degree with atleast 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-Point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed). A Relaxation of 5% marks from 55% to 50% or an equivalent relaxation of grade will be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/EBC/BC/Differently able categories of candidates.

Only the students having a Bachelor's degree from any IIT and having a CGPA/CPI score of 8.00 (out of 10.0) and above can apply for admission to Ph.D. programmes without giving GATE/net.

Candidates for admission to the Ph.D. programme shall have a Master's degree in a relevant/ allied subject or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master's degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body with atleast 55% marks in aggregate. Admission to M. hill programs is open to a student who holds at least a second class Master's Degree in the concerned subject with 55% or more marks. Panjab University Ph.D. Admission 2022
Candidates, who have completed a Master's degree in the relevant discipline with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC, ST, PwD, BC category) from Panjab University, Chandigarh, or equivalent university are considered eligible for admission to the Ph.D. programme.
