Jaypee Business School Noida offers a three-year PhD programme in Management stream in full-time as well as part-time mode. PhD specialisations include Marketing, Finance, HR, Operations and General Management. The award of PhD degree is in recognition of high academic achievements, independent research, creative and productive inquiry and application of knowledge to the solution of problems in business and Management.

For PhD programme, candidates are selected on the basis of marks scored in entrance test and performance in interview round conducted by the University. The entrance test is a theory paper based on postgraduate level syllabus with a weightage of 80 per cent. The remaining weightage of 20 per cent is given to the candidate’s score in interview.
Eligibility Criteria: Master’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST category candidates) OR Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accounts or Institute of Cost and Works Accountants or qualified as company secretary.

Candidates seeking admission to the NMIMS School of Business Management PhD course must have passed a Master's degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with a minimum aggregate of 55% or its equivalent. Executive PhD (Working Executives /Teaching faculty) will require at least 5 years of full-time work experience. Candidates appearing or awaiting for final year result are not eligible to apply.

Admission to PhD at IIFT Kolkata is a two-stage process. Both of these are mentioned below:
Stage I: All the eligible candidates are called for an MCQ-based written entrance test comprising of basic statistics, logical reasoning, data interpretation, basic mathematics (up to Class 12) and verbal ability
Stage II: Candidates who clear the stage I (the written entrance test) will be called for the Personal Interview (PI)
