Ph.D Eligibility

The minimum eligibility criteria to pursue PhD at MGKVP is that students must have completed their UG and PG degrees with a minimum aggregate of 55%. Those who have done an MPhil degree with 55% aggregate are, however, also eligible for admission to this course. Final admission to PhD is subject to the Research Entrance Test (RET) conducted by the MGKVP. Master's degree with 55% aggregate (50% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC (non-creamy)/ Differently Abled/ Other reserved categories) or equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale is the basic eligibility for PhD at IIHMR Jaipur. 

Candidate should have passed BTech with 50% aggregate or MSc in Physics or Electronics with 55% aggregate for seeking admissions to the PhD programme in Physics.

Applications for admission to PhD programme are screened by the Committee on Postgraduate Programmes (CPGP); shortlisted candidates are then called for an entrance test conducted by the University, followed by a PI round. UGC-NET/ CSIR-NET qualified candidates are exempted from the entrance test and called directly for PI round.

MG University admissions to PhD programme is based on a valid score in UGC NET/ CSIR NET/ GATE/ GPAT/ SLET/ JSET/ University Entrance Test. Aspirants with a Master’s degree in Law or equivalent with a minimum of 55% aggregate are eligible to apply for the PhD programme provided they qualify AILET.

Candidates seeking admission to the NMIMS School of Business Management PhD course must have passed a Master's degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with a minimum aggregate of 55% or its equivalent. Executive PhD (Working Executives /Teaching faculty) will require at least 5 years of full-time work experience. Candidates appearing or awaiting for final year result are not eligible to apply.
