Ph.D Eligibility

Candidates with a valid score in the following exams: UGC NET/ CSIR NET/ JEST (or) GATE are eligible for the PhD at  the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology. Candidates must apply through the institute's official website. IIST offers PhD in regular, sponsored, and anytime mode. Specialisations covered under PhD are Aerospace engineering, Avionics, earth & Space Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Humanitites. 

Admission to PhD at Mansarovar Global University is entrance exam-based. The university conducts a written entrance exam for the candidates seeking admission to PhD. Applicants with a valid score in UGC NET/ GATE need not appear for the entrance exam. 

At Bharathidasan University, the eligibility for PhD is to post-graduate with 50% aggregate from a recognised University (for candidates belonging to 50% SC/ST).

In order to get admission for PhD course at GITAM, School of Technology, Visakhapatnam campus the candidate have to meet the minimum educational qualification. Aspirant can find the eligibility criteria from the table presented below:

Admission to the IIIT Delhi PhD programmes is merit and entrance-based. Shortlisted candidates have to go through an interview round for final selection. The accepted entrance exams are GATE/ UGC NET/CSIR NET. Based on the candidates' scores in the accepted exam, the candidates are shortlisted. For some of the PhD programmes, aspirants are shortlisted for the interview based on aggregate in the last qualifying examination.

Master’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 55% aggregate is the basic eligibility for PhD offered at Invertis University. SC/ST category candidates need a minimum of 50% aggregate in the last qualifying examination.
