According to the NIRF Report 2023, the total number of students placed is 200 and the number of students selected for higher education is 14. The average placement percentage is around 70-80%. The median salary package offered to PG 2-year students is found to be Rs. 6,35,000. The cut off marks for Physics subject are different for both PhD and Integrated PhD courses. The previous year cut off date of Physics exam is mentioned below.

The above mentioned cutoff marks are from total of 100 marks. Since this year exam pattern have changed hence cutoff will differ accordingly.

The eligibility criteria for PhD course at MIT School of Food Technology is that candidate should have Master’s Degree in Food Science / Food Technology with prerequisite of four years B.Tech./ Equivalent degree programme, with minimum of 70% of marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 10 – point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).
