Bennett University opens admission for PhD twice a year. One for even and other for odd semester. BRAT is the research aptitude test required for PhD admission. Below is BRAT tentative dates as per previous year schedule:

The selection committee of the respective schools of NISER shortlist candidates meeting the educational requirements for PhD course. Aspirants are further select based on GATE, JEST, GPAT, CSIR NET, ICMR JRF score. The shortlisted candidates will be called for a written test and/or interviews for selection
as part of the PhD admission process.

PhD is a minimum of three-year course offered in five specialisations. Below are the PhD specialisations offered at NISER:

• Biological Sciences
• Chemical Sciences
• Computer Sciences
• Humanities and Social Sciences
• Physical Sciences

Yes, NISER Bhubaneshwar offers fellowships to PhD students. Under the fellowship, students are offered INR 31,000 for the first two years, which will subsequently be enhanced to INR 35,000 for the remaining three years, subject to the condition that he/ she fulfills all the requirements of the Institute that will be stipulated from time to time.

At Dr BR Ambedkar University, the PhD admissions generally happen twice every year. But, the seats available for PhD in each school may vary.

Candidates with a valid score in the following exams: UGC NET/ CSIR NET/ JEST (or) GATE are eligible for the PhD at  the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology. Candidates must apply through the institute's official website. IIST offers PhD in regular, sponsored, and anytime mode. Specialisations covered under PhD are Aerospace engineering, Avionics, earth & Space Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Humanitites. 

The Institution of Clinical Research India, Dehradun offers PhD in four specialisations. Candidates seeking admission to this programme must have a master’s degree in the subjects concerned. The course duration of PhD is atleast 5 years.

Selection Criteria: Admission to PhD will be based on the scores attained in the entrance exam conducted by the university.

PhD is offered across 10 specialisations under its Centre for Interdisciplinary Biomedical Research by the Adesh University. PhD is offered in both full-time and part-time modes. The minimum duration of the PhD programme is two and a half years and can be extended up to five years. For admission to the PhD programme, the applicants must fulfil the following eligibility criteria to be eligible:

Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Bikaner offers PhD programme in six specialisations to candidates who aspire to study research in the disciplines of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry. The minimum course duration of the programme is three years.

Selection criteria: Final admission is based on the scores obtained in PPEE conducted by RAJUVAS, followed by a PI round. The following categories are exempted from appearing for PPEE:

• ICAR nominee seats
• SRF of ICAR/foreign nationals sponsored by ICAR/GOI qualified candidates
• Candidates of the members in-service at RAJUVAS
