KJSAC offers PhD courses in Hindi, Gujarati and Commerce (Business Policy & Administration). These doctoral courses are affiliated and conducted by Mumbai University and have a total of 24 seats against all of them in total. 

The selection to PhD course at Sri Balaji University is based on a valid score in SBUP-PET/ UGC NET (JRF)/ UGC-CSIR NET (JRF)/ SET/ GATE/ SLET followed by a personal interview round. Candidates with an MPhil degree are exempted from appearing for the entrance exam. 

The University accepts PhD Entrance Test (PET) conducted by SIU for admission to PhD programme.

Rajagiri College of Social Sciences offers two specialisations in PhD, namely Social Work and Management Studies.
