Firstly, aspirants must ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria for PhD at Annamalai University. Further, the selection is based on a PG entrance test conducted by the university followed by an interview round. The weightage of the entrance exam is 70 and for the interview is 30. The candidates who score 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD) in the exam and interview round become eligible for admission. In order to take admission in PhD course at TNAU the student requisite to clear ICAR AICE-JRF/SRF examination. However, the aspirants age should be at least than 20 years. No relaxation is allowable regarding the minimum age limit.
