Shortened from its original duration of 3 hours, the PTE exam is now conducted within 2 hours. However, there will be no change in the format, type of questions asked and the scoring criteria of the Pearson PTE exam. Your performance in all four sections of PTE affects your overall scoring. There are individual scores first followed by an overall score. So section by section is assessed before the overall performance.
