The PTE test best suited to apply for an Australian PR is the PTE Academic Test. The minimum PTE scores required to qualify for the Australia PR are 65. The Department of Home Affairs in Australia accept teh PTE Academic test for all types of visa applications.

The PTE exam syllabus is focused on the four key parameters of assessing the English language proficiency, i.e. Speaking, Writing, Reading and Listening. The PTE exam syllabus is-

- Personal Introduction- Involves a brief introduction of you.

Yes, the PTE scores in Australia are valid for 3 years only in the case of applying for PR in Australia. For studying and getting admitted to universities in Australia, the validity of scores lasts 2 years.

The PTE Academic, PTE Academic Online and PTE Core tests are priced at $490 NZD in New Zealand. While PTE Academic UKVI is priced at $490 NZD and PTE Home A1, A2 and B1 are priced at $415 NZD.

Conducted by Pearson PLC Group, the PTE Academic exam fee in India for the year 2025 is INR 18,900. Additionally the fee for PTE core and PTE Acdemic UKVI exams is also INR 18,900.

Yes. Candidates should be aware that the PTE registration fee is valid for a single PTE test. Candidates who are looking to appear for a second PTE Academic test would be required to register for the PTE test again and also pay the required PTE exam fees. Hence, candidates are always advised to book their PTE exam slot only after having prepared for the PTE Academic test.
